I have a possible workaround to the chain craft issue for PC users. Not sure how much is allowed to be discussed here regarding the Japanese mods, but if you install only numbers 21 and 22 and do not install 30 and 3C, chain crafts appear to work as intended. 30 is apparently experimental and the creator even recommends that it might be better not to use it at all. 3C I left out because my game kept crashing when I included it.

It’s still a bit early to say this will fix all chain craft issues but we’ll see! I successfully passed that part of the tutorial anyway.

Honestly I don’t see the issue with romhacks, normally they’re only usable if you already have access to the original copy anyway, it doesn’t enable anything illegal.

It works, with slight annoyance that monster names are in English. (At least better than character names in English.)

Even with all mods, bracer handbook isn’t fully translated.

Additionally, Japanese battle voice is in a separate mod, outside the 4 files. Enabling character voices changes character names to English.

I would settle with a different version, as I don’t need to apply mod, and prevent bugs. (Smaller screen though, thanks @simias )

Nonetheless, whether the mod is playable well until clear game would make an interesting news.

I just started watching the story scenes for SC. So may join in the discussions if/when I catch up to y’all

Hi. I’m sorry I never got the thread up last week and I’m sorry it’s not happening this week either. Please use the week 11 thread for the rest of chapter two? I’m thinking/hoping I can make a chapter 3 thread at the start of November but can’t promise.

I am continuing by myself without looking at walkthroughs or missable contents. Just want to focus on having fun and finishing the game first. (I also didn’t join FF and other game clubs.)

I am bad at keeping with club’s pace and discussion. or maybe also with social network and being a member of society in general.

Anyone else is still playing SC?
