It seems we didn’t get the summary page this Christmas either…

It was my only wish ![]()
I’m just curious, but what are you all still missing from the summary page?
Right now the new widgets can recreate the summary page and have like three times more stats for those who love stats… They show you your mistakes, give you even the option to actively review them as flashcards, which wasn’t possible before (you just had a list of your recent mistakes and had to open each one of them separately if you wanted to review them)… they show you the percentage of your session(/s) and you can decide on what percentage is interesting to you. Like your reviews that day, week, month… you can even have a widget for each of those to have a long-term improvement overview.
Like, a serious question. I’m not trying to be rude or mean, so please don’t read it in that tone if you can. I’m just curious.
Me personally I want to be able to see the mistakes/correct answers for the last session. At the moment the widgets only support “Recent mistakes (mistakes from the past 24 hours. Give them some love)”.
I would like to see the mistakes AND correct items from the last session ONLY. Not for all the sessions I had in the past 24 hours. And the percentage (again for last session only) would be nice to see also. Oh yeah and sort them in rows by type: Radical/Vocabulary/Kanji.
In short, the old summary page ![]()
Thanks for the detailed response!
I understand why you’d want to see the mistakes especially, but why the correct items?
Also, I’m curious, when it comes to the “last 24 hours” mistakes, do they scale with the level? So is it the case that you make a lot of mistakes and then the flashcards are just way too many for the 24 hour display, or why is it not enough to just review them at the end of a study session? Since I personally think the 24 hour time frame gives you an overview over everything you’ve got wrong in a given day and you should review to actually long-term advance your studies and get rid of any leeches and so on.
Oooh, true. I remember that was a thing.
Well, I found this feature useful for various reasons, but to give some examples: sometimes, even if I got a compound word correct, I might not remember one of its kanji very well and want to check other vocabulary containing that kanji. In another case, I might get the kanji right, but it reminds me of a very similar kanji that I can’t remember, so I want to check visually similar kanji after the session, etc.
Overall, it was very useful for me.
As for the “last 24 hours mistakes,” I guess it depends on the person, but I usually do 2–3 sessions per day, and after my noon session, for example, I don’t want to see mistakes from yesterday afternoon’s session. I only want to see the results for that particular session, both correct and incorrect items.
I guess the “last 24 hours mistakes” feature would be useful for someone who wants to do an extra session focusing only on mistakes to consolidate them. However, for what I need, it’s impractical, because I have to search for the item I need among a bunch of items from other sessions.
So… what is going on with the summary page?
any updates?

This is sad.
Unfortunately, it is.
I’ve actually reached lvl 60…this is shameful.
I’ve only been (recently) active on the community forums since they blindsided WK users with the new dashboard, smaller kanji tiles, removal of list views back in October 2025.
Coming up on six months, all WK staff care about is making the dashboard look more slick and widgets.
In the meantime, users have to scrape for themselves to generate scripts to make it like it was previous to the October 2026 change. i.e users are doing the work for WK staff
Go figure.
Shameless plug
This script adds a summary page of sorts. Two options related to summary. One page at the end similar to the old way, and/or a running tally on the review page itself.
It’s been years and I still miss having the summary page. Normally I open two tabs, one of Wanikani before reviews and one after so I can compare the progress in each session but it’s not quite the same.
Hopefully WK can come up with something like that in the future as it was a really meaningful feature to have.
Agreed.
Why take away features that are good?
Same here.
I’m still missing this very important feature that they took from us.
I also wish it was back. Just throwing in my feelings
I just finished a 100-item session, but I have no idea how I did since there’s no summary showing my correct and incorrect answers. Yay! \o/ #LiFeiSGoOd #LMAO
doesn’t really fix the problem…one of many many band aids/patches from users…wk still doesn’t have their own app and probably never will… kitsun, renshuu, anki ,etc…all have native apps…users can build these things for wk…but somehow they are too hard for wk to figure out… ![]()

wk continues to profit of users who build scripts and programs (for free!) to make up for so many deficiencies in the srs system… not a matter of IF but WHEN! …one day something WILL break again…most of the time things are working again within a few days to a week…but that’s still rolling the dice… ![]()
who knows…maybe next year an actual summary page will return next year…it’s more than 19 days away but…maybe check back in Feb…around the end of the month…rumors are a target date of the 30th ![]()
