Thank you for the suggestion, but I agree with Shuly. I’m level 55, and I haven’t used any scripts so far and I am not going to start now. I don’t like the idea of installing unsupported third-party apps.
I’m paying for a platform that feels incomplete. Bunpro, for example, charges half the subscription price, yet they have a summary page, custom themes, built-in dark mode (with no need for scripts or add-ons), a reward system with a shop, and many other cool features. How can they manage all of this with half the resources?
When I started this journey, we had a summary page. For some reason, they removed it and never brought it back. What’s even worse is that they NEVER gave a SINGLE STATEMENT about the situation.
I didn’t mean just to bash on WaniKani team, but my intention was to use this thread to let them know that the summary page was a very important feature for me, and probably for many other users as well, and to try to get a reaction from them. Never got one. I don’t understand why they never brought the summary page back. I’m very disappointed with how they handled this situation.
It sucks but to be fair the scripts are great. You are almost finished so really no point to start now but I personally wouldn’t be paying for Wanikani if it didn’t let me use scripts. The fact that vanilla Wanikani doesn’t even have an undo button for typos is shocking. I don’t know how you guys survive raw Wanikani
i am still fairly new to here (so i may not see the big picture very clearly yet, sorry if i am wrong about this) but from the bit of lurking these forums i’ve done so far, it seems there is an issue of transparency from the WK team
often i see users voice concerns, requests, etc, many of these things being open issues for several years
wk staff are visibly watching conversations actively. in many threads staff members will reply when their assistance is relevant
much less often do i see staff reply to issues like this
it seems there is historically a problem with features being changed, removed, or requested, for things that appear like they should not be difficult, and staff will only vaguely acknowledge it if at all
i like to give benefit of the doubt… in general the wk team seem very passionate for improving the service as much as they can, but…
for these issues that many people care about for a long time, there probably is a good reason why we go so long without it, but why does staff leave users wondering forever? if they would give clear explanations of their intentions, timelines, reasonings… i think a lot people would be less mad about it, naturally
Yes, the lack of an undo button can be a pain sometimes 
But I actually prefer it this way, it makes me stay very attentive when submitting my answers instead of falling into “autopilot mode.” Also, there’s no temptation to cheat ^^
I’m sure there are many useful scripts though. Personally I only tried a dark mode script some time ago which stopped working when they updated the platform (about the same time when we lost the summary page) and since then I gave up on scripts and I’m using a browser add-on instead.

There is so much ‘there’ there.
I’m currently in vacation mode, not currently even doing the SRS, but it is allowing me to review what I had previously ‘learned’ in anticipation of eventually turning vacation mode off - and once I do, I’m expecting to spend most of my study and review time in kakehashi on my iPad and/or android tablet rather than within WK itself.
Plus it has other features independent of WK.
And the developer is extremely responsive, and in this forum.
