Yep!

I think before, and the comma is just breaking it up for emphasis.

As for this place, one day at Gosakuโ€™s place a young, unmarried woman calls/visits and came.

I would just switch these two:

ใจใ“ใ‚ใŒ = however
ใŸใšใญใฆใใ‚‹ = to come visiting

Summary

However one day a young unmarried woman came visiting Gosakuโ€™s place.

Thatโ€™s it! But one thing I noticed now is the ใฒใจใ‚Š on the sentence. I think it translates to โ€œaloneโ€ or disappears in translation, but Iโ€™m not sureโ€ฆ

Yeah, just one young unmarried woman came/she came alone. I donโ€™t think itโ€™s super necessary to translate for our purposes.

I translated the ใฒใจใ‚Š to โ€œunmarriedโ€ that was used in the vocabulary Sheet. Does the used particles change the meaning? I think for the meaning โ€œcame aloneโ€ it has to be followed by a ใง.

First time clocking in for some reading today and already, I feel like this will be really useful for my Japanese studies! Iโ€™m plesantry suprised by how many words I seem to recognise! The discussion here about translating each sentence and the inout from other users is really useful! Hopefully I will have some questions soon, but so far, going through the resources have been so helpful!

Oh, I remember now. โ€˜Unmarriedโ€™ is the third meaning listed on jisho for ใฒใจใ‚Š so I thought it might make the most sense for the context. Itโ€™s probably up to interpretation though.

These all look good, nice job!

Summary

I think ใจ is used to show a connection between the quote and the part that follows. Kind of like โ€˜and soโ€™ or โ€˜thereforeโ€™.

Yeah, I also read it as โ€˜so/and then/therefore.โ€™ I think itโ€™s closest to this usage of ใจ
