Ah, so it’s a tampermonkey on Chrome issue. If I get too frustrated I’ll use violentmonkey, but I imagine it will be updated soon, so maybe I’ll just wait. Thanks!
Also it looks like WKOF is #22 , try dragging it up so it’s listed as the first script with WKOFAF as #2. Not sure if it’s still necessary but IIRC at one point it was important those came first in the list.
My script are working for me in chrome + taper monkey so if it’s a chrome issue it’s not universal, or perhaps related to certain scripts.
This happened to me recently. I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling tampermonkey. Make sure to write your tampermonkey settings to a file before uninstalling it.
Yeah I know it was at one point, but now I don’t think it matters. I definitely didn’t install it 22nd, so I think the number must change with updates or via some other logic.
This seems to have worked for me, thanks. Weirdly enough exporting and importing left me with 3 copies of Sinyaven’s Item Info Injector, which as you can see above didn’t even show up last time. Strange…
I have heard of that before. The problem seems to be that Tampermonkey includes this library script in the export because it is used by other scripts, but when importing, Tampermonkey gets confused because I gave the script the ending .user.js which means that it can (optionally) also be installed by itself.
Your three copies are coming from Keisei, Pitch Info, and Stroke Order which all rely on Item Info Injector. I think you can safely delete these three copies as they are already included in these scripts.
Ah, that makes sense. I deleted the two, but I’ll go ahead and delete the third one then.
WKOF definitely should be #1 still, otherwise you may end up with exactly the sort of race conditions people are describing here, where scripts sometimes work and sometimes don’t.
I went and put it at the top anyway, but I wonder why it moved down in the first place. Maybe it was an import I did in the past…
is there a way to export all installed scripts in firefox? And import them later?
I would like to format my laptop and it always takes time to install each all over again. ![]()
The tampermonkey dashboard has export and import features. They are under the Utilities tab.
I think the original author is no longer with us but I believe I have found the bug in the Firefox port of the old Chrome notifier that was causing it to not be able to perform periodic refreshes after the first one. I’ve dropped a comment on GitHub explaining the issue - hopefully a new version can be pushed to the APO repository soon.
Just in case anyone is in the same situation, I made a super small script just to hide the dashboard sale banner if like me you’ve already got lifetime and it’s getting a bit annoying ![]()
Does it not stay closed for you if you click the 'X" to close it?
Edit: Okay, yeah, it doesn’t stay closed on mine either.
@Hubbit200,
FYI, WaniKani rolled out an update, and this seems to be working properly now.
I used to have an upcoming lessons script, but its not there anymore or am I just not seeing it? ![]()
trying to see how many lessons until I start with the next level stuff.
That doesn’t ring a bell. What did it look like?
in the lessons window it just listed upcoming below the ones you recently finished. pretty simple.
I found it on google, its this one I think.
has not been updated in a long time
EDIT:
No I take that back, updated may this year. its just not in the list on the first post.
doesnt seem to work for me though
I know how to create a new API Token and see that I may have up to 16 of them. I only have one that I use for WK Stats. I’m now trying to get started using KamiSami, which also needs an API Token. I went ahead and used the same one and am running into a couple of issues. I’m wondering if I should just create a new one that I’ll use solely for KamiSami.
Bottom line: I don’t understand why I’d ever need more than one API Token unless (I guess) simultaneously-running apps might conflict with each other.
It’s because you can them different permissions and so that you can remove one without having to change it everywhere
