I’ve been mostly reading books lately. And I also finished the last chapter of Tobira somewhere this week, so also had a few pages of that to supplement my daily reading. It feels quite nice to be at a level where I can reasonable read books, but I also miss reading manga, so I might start something new soon (or maybe after the JLPT…)
More Ms Elf 2, might read a little more tonight, we’ll see. We’re back in the slice of life/real world section so I’m not diving for my dictionary quite as much, but it’s still relatively heavy.
Seasons says it’s windy season and that the wind will blow the leaves out of the trees. As for the day though… 11いい26風呂, so enjoy a good bath today please.
JoJo is managing to still stress me out even when I know the ending. I care about Jolyne too much lol. Rather than start vol 65 though, I think I’m going to focus on the book clubs I’m behind on. I was supposed to start Natively’s GL one last week and I would really like to be done with Nausicaa … I hope that keeping Stake as my fun read will help me when I don’t feel motivated for and Ouran . I know for Smoking with You and Fudanshi fam , my main problem is trying not to read ahead, so I’m not worried about those at least lol.

I. did. nothing. I am honestly just having a hell of a time doing anything, I am not happy about it. I was away at my relative’s house for most of the day on Thanksgiving, but I have no excuse for the other days other than a general not-wanting-to-ness. I don’t know, I need a break from existence. I think about all the things I could and should and want to be doing in my free time and I get overwhelmed by everything and do nothing, it’s frustrating and I hate it. My brain is everywhere all the time all at once

Finally forced myself to read something! This chapter was very sweet, and Asahi cleans up surprisingly well

とらドラ！pg 152 → 168 (16 pages) - back on this with a vengeance, although my eyes don’t appreciate it much. I wasn’t going to read that much, but then there were good stretch goals about every 3 pages… so i just ended up reading until the end of chapter 4.
ポケモンオメガルビー ~1 hr - Last night, right as I was about to fall asleep, I got my shiny! I played a bit before bed because I was too excited to sleep and wanted to make sure I saved lol, but then I played through a bit today. Thankfully this game has a kanji option, unlike the older games. No furigana, but it’s been a pretty quick game to play so far. I think when I played through this in french it took me about 30 hours to beat, so we’ll have to see if I spend more time on this
In total, I was soft resetting for about the length of 涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱 + the movie, あの花, and then a few episodes of アリア + a bit before falling asleep a few days. Probably still under rate, since they are 1/4096 without the shiny charm in this gen, and resets are fairly slow. I started out my french playthrough with a shiny poussifeu, so it only seemed right to get a shiny for this one too

I didn’t totally understand Seasons but it seemed to explain that these tree hat things are supposed to prevent snow damage in winter?

Asterism was really neat to start! Other than Dracula, I haven’t really read novels. It’s been mainly manga, nonfiction, and a few graded readers. Asterism was just really nice to start though. Like wow, it’s a wall of text, but holy cow, it’s easy and dare I say pleasant to read?! I’m excited to read more but what is time and can I have some lol
I started it in the reading challenge at the beginning of this year, almost a whole year… think I’ll break from this challenge for now. But if I find something I might join again before the end (though probably nothing quite this big), if not hope to see you all in next challenge!
Long update this time cause I forgot to post here. I missed several days… Mostly due to my continuing obsession with Baldur’s Gate 3… I did finish it but now I’m playing another save file.

I finished the second Azumanga volume on Friday. Only one left! (Nooooooo…) I’m trying to savor the last volume as much as possible, but I keep reading it more than my other series. I also fell behind a week on Horimiya so I caught up yesterday.
Wish I could read more of 舞妓さんちのまかないさん, but so many reviews (WK + JPDB), and also using most of the rest of my Japanese-study-time on Quartet, don’t want to fall behind again!
More Ms Elf 2. Learned the kanji for 折角. Interesting ‘speech tic’ where words I normally see in kana （折角、馳走、頂戴）are rendered in kanji, maybe to show… elven refinement?
