Week 8 is here!
I remembered you had read a bunch of the series, so I thought I’d ask you if volume 14 was worth buying… but it seems you only read as far as volume 13
Turns out volume 14 and 15 have been “misplaced” (aka stolen) at my local library and no book off I tried had volume 14… but it’s quite pricey and the story in volume 13 (as you know) was a bit bland so I’m a bit weary about it. Well, just in case you had read ahead.
Otherwise, I do agree that the arc spanning volumes 9-11 (plus a bit of 8) was quite nice
Looks like no bookoff at all has volume 14
It’s a conspiracy!
Oh well, I ended up buying it anyway. I could find it cheaper second hand on amazon; they say it’s in great condition too. If it’s so rare, I should get a lot of that back from selling it to book off anyway
Well, volume 14 is by far the biggest one, so it’s probably because of that I’d imagine.
This conversation made me curious, and…
Wow, that’s… one surprisingly big book, at least for a light novel(100 pages longer than the biggest Japanese book I have, which is one of the sword art online books)
That’s a big boi indeed. Well, I feel better about the price I paid.
Here, I took a picture, you can clearly see how much thicker volume 14 is compared to the other volumes:
Sword Oratoria 12 looks thick as well. Is the series any good?
It’s the same timeline just from Aiz’s perspective with tons of character development for her, which I really enjoyed. It totally changed my views on many of the events that happened in the original series and more screen time for Aiz is always nice.
Though, there’s quite a bit from Lefiya’s perspective as well, which many did not enjoy very much as she feels like a knock-off Bell at times. I personally didn’t mind it too much, but the series could have done without many of her sections imo.
Hm, I thought it was a prequel since characters looked a lot younger.
Well… if I’m really looking for something to read, I guess. So not at the moment (I have 20+ unread books just piled around)
