Can this forum handle yet another animal/nature appreciation thread? I think so!!!

This one is about celebrating marine life, whether it’s in the sea, lakes, or rivers. It can be both in the water or living beside it.

I personally love watching documentaries of marine life. It’s amazing to see all these wonderful and amazing creatures, but also to realize just how little we still know about the sea.

Extra bonus points go to anyone that posts the Japanese names and kanji of any creature they share.

Whales are so amazing and I used to want to become a marine biologist just so it would be my job to study these incredible animals.
