I don’t think he is her father, otherwise he would probably have recognize the pattern on her fur as the other cat did

Unless he noticed her smell be like him he wouldn’t think about it.
Though it might also explain why he decided to take acre of her, teach her and look after her.
He might not remember who she belongs to (mated with many girls), just that she smells enough like him to maybe be his
But honestly, if it was canon they would have said so, so it is only in our minds anyway =P
And humans as well… Yes, I thought about that as well. But even if he doesn’t know he is the dad, he would probably know he saw the mother, no?
I think he only accepted to help her because she is the MC and needed someone
