This was a fun chapter for sure I can’t fathom how they always find new ways to make things かわいい and I like it
The mangaka really does a good job with the facial expressions
There are so many funny bits, but my highlight would be the last panel, where Tina’s only concern of Kesaran getting big is that they won’t fit in the house or be able to enter the house I also like her imagination And how she thinks that Kesaran would get quite big if they keep eating everything or something like that
I have a question regarding a word on page 64: the meaning of なぁ. I think this appeares 2 times in this chapter and I assume it means something along the negations at the end of the sentence to confirm what has been said (maybe a bit similar to ね?) an example might be: you’re coming with us, aren’t you? I’d appreciate the input
Here’s a Sakura for for reading along with us (or just even lurking)
Time to do some more translations! I’ve been trying to increase my understanding of Japanese sentence structure, so hopefully that’ll help me lower the amount of tool assistant I have to use.

Oh?
Page 64
Are you hungry?
She’s been out since this morning
I’m going shopping
…
Page 65
…What do you want to eat?
He really seems to enjoy eating it
It’s a wallet
Page 66
Shopping most expensive (Shopping for sales perhaps?)
Page 67
Everyone is so lively in the city
I can’t help but want everything
Daily necessities and vegetables are a must
Snacks are also required
But recently
Korva puust 1.50
Page 68
Delicious
Cinnamon roll and hot coffee
Before shopping, filling your stomach is a must
Now then, which place should I visit first?
That…
Page 69
It’s not there
I wonder where it is!?
… It feels like the weight is the same from this morning
Which means I lost it when I swapped bags this morning…!?
Ehe I’ll use this going out bag instead
…As expected since no one is coming it’s really quiet…

I don’t even have a smartphone
What should I do? At this rate I’ll end up dining and dashing
On the other hand borrowing a phone is embarrasing
But if I don’t borrow a phone I"ll end up dining and dashing
Page 71
Older brother… truly, thank you
I’m sorry
Don’t worry about it
Ugh, I’m so sorry
Come to think about it, you knew exactly where to find me
Well about that
Well take a look
A coin?
Page 72
What was that…!?
Because I was worried about leaving him home alone
The reason I found you was thanks to this guy
Page 73
Could it be that she’s in this direction?
First shop
Second shop
And then at the third shop I finally made my way over here
So that’s how it was
Page 74
Since he eats any type of sweets he may be an omnivore
The soup I’ve feed him has meet and fish
Eat a lot and grow big, okay!
But what if he grows too big?
Sounds fun, but what if he won’t fit in the house?
Maybe staying as he is now would be for the best, huh…
Whew, some of those pages had quite a lot of words
最高 means “the best” so she’s saying “Shopping is the best!”
でも、その前に is Tina saying “But first…” or" but before that…" since she saw the pastry in the window.
あれ is more of a way of saying “huh?” or “uuh… what?”
I think this is supposed to be the last panel of page 69? とにかく一度お兄ちゃんに電話して確認 translate into “Anyway, I’ll call and confirm with my brother” confirming that she did leave her wallet at home.
Cookie. Vertical katakana still gets me too
なにがし is the little guy’s name!
Thanks for doing these translations! I’ve been reading though myself first, and then go through your translations and compare what I think it all said afterwards.
Ironically, the better I get at Japanese, the worse my translations will become as I start relying on my translation tools less and less. Thanks for the corrections! The more I learn now, the quicker they’ll get worse
This is also what I usually do. Thank you for your help, too
You’re doing an amazing job
What I find a bit helpful for me is to try and rely on the general context while attempting to translate different words rather than looking up what the literal meaning of the word is. I’m not in any way good at translating, but I found this approach helpful
