I had a little melt-down in confidence there (easy to do, and quite regular when you are as bad a language learner as me!) but with all the kind support of this community (and there are not many places on the net where you can truly use that word) I’m feeling a whole lot better now. Looking back, I realise that actually I have made considerable progress over the past year, and yes, I want to keep at it. I couldn’t have made the progress I have without you guys, and I couldn’t face continuing on without you guys either. Thank you.
This is actually something I’m struggling with from time to time — I wish I could tweak the first reviews to be a lot sooner after lessons (or after blowing an item back to Apprentice I ).
Even better, a way to send something back to the head of the Lessons queue if I get to the first review and can’t remember anything about it would be cool.
FWIW, I’ve tried using all of {LingoDeer,DuoLingo,Memrise,Anki}, and settled on WK as the best but I have subscribed to Memrise too. Anki won’t take my money (as a non-iOS user).
Sorry about being late, but… hey, just because my level plate is golden instead of white it doesn’t mean I’m paying. There are probably a lot of free users in the forums if you count all the level 60’s who canceled their subscriptions
