I also have a confession to make: I at first misread the title page as キス and was trying to figure out why she was writing it backwards before I realized that I’m just dumb.

Is this the first time we've heard this background character's name?
I imagine she’s shown up earlier, but I mostly recall her from volume 7’s first chapter, showing when Takagi and Nishikata first met.

In my defense, I did need to look up which of the trio 月本 is.
I mean, I did make an accurate guess based on past events, and I knew it wasn’t Mina thanks to her cousin showing up so much in another series.
But still.
I assure you I have a bad memory.

On difficulty, Shadows House does become a bit easier, but it certainly goes through a lot of tough material to get there.
The story gets better as it goes, but if you’re either not invested in it, or the difficulty creates too much friction to reading it, I certainly understand focusing on reading other things.

Yeah, I’m having the opposite problem with Shadows House right now: I have to talk myself out of just reading the whole thing.
