These were supposed to get here at the end of the month, I’m not even halfway through Daiya yet…

The Natively GL book club pick + some other books, unsurprisingly almost all sports

A few more non-fiction (2 volleyball and 1 baseball), a baseball short story anthology (featuring 2 authors I recognize, Asano Atsuko and Suga Shinobu, though I haven’t read anything by Suga yet), and a ギヴン art book

Awesome collection :slightly_smiling_face:

I have a couple of Children’s story books that I am looking forward to reading

These aren’t physical books but, here’s my Bookwalker collection so far:

Package from eBay has arrived today! I think these will keep me busy for a while!

Latest haul from cdjapan:

15€ at a con flea market, might as well check this series out.

Got the all of one of the two orders I did recently. I got one of the Japan history mangas talked about earlier in this thread.

My reasonably small book collection (both English and Japanese)

Most books I either borrow from the library or read online, but I’m growing the number on my shelf slowly!

My dorm bookshelf. I’ve read not even half, however.

Layer 1 of the manga collection. Missing volumes here and there…

Layer 2.

A few other bits and pieces scattered around my shelves as well…

To be honest a few of these are remnants from my time in Japan (like Boku no Hero, Moto Takagi-san etc.) and will get traded away/sold off to clear the way for books I actually want to keep physicals of. I’m sort of undecided on Bisque Doll too, maybe I should convert to digitals for it… idk.

If people are interested I could post the whole of my shelves, since I’m actually sort of proud of them tbh. It’s a pity I will probably need to tear this room up within a year to convert it into something more pressing…!

yes please! and I’m curious about it’s transformation…

And here is the much larger second order. My wallet is crying.

Those piles are mostly 12-13 volumes high.

Great collection  I really want to get the Atelier series, too. I read a bit in English and it’s really good.

Can you report back on the history books, I’ve been wondering if to buy these. Thanks.

@Izabelle I took a huge risk in buying those. The art is absolutely gorgeous and I have heard good things, but I haven’t read it! However I wanted to be sure I had all volumes so I wouldn’t get partway through and have volumes be out of print or something like that.

@VincyJPlearner Absolutely! Not entirely sure when I will read them. But maybe I can extensively sample a volume at least.

Most of it is from either the Bookoff in NYC, my local library’s annual used book sale, or from what was my nearby Bookoff in Japan. Some other random used book stores also contributed ^^
