Really Early Reading Practice

I was wondering if there are any places that I would be able to find reading practices that contain only the few amounts of kanji that I have learned up till about level 4. I want to strengthen the earlier kanji/vocab that I’ve learned by reading it outside of WaniKani so that I’m less likely to forget once I get to further levels. Perhaps there is some sort of learning service where I can customize what kanji I would find in reading practice? Or just a place to read extremely beginner sentences?

SatoriReader is a paid subscription (the first 2 chapters in each series are free without payment).
There is a setting that aligns the shown Kanji with Wanikani.

Seconding this recommendation! There’s a WK API you can input into Satori Reader & SR automatically adjusts to your WK kanji level. It has excellent audio too.

I had been using Kakehashi. Download on the iPhone store, link with an API token and then do “Context Sentences”

Makoto does the trick for me. The free version is sufficient for the casual reading of a few sentences based on level

You can give a try to my site. It’s not for everyone but some people love it.

The very early Tadoku graded readers also have minimal kanji / limited vocab and full furigana

Tadoku graded readers are great for exactly this (already mentioned above!). I also built mukashi.app for the same reason. I wanted stories that used the specific vocab I was learning in WaniKani rather than just generic beginner content. Let me know if you try it.
