Looking for good reading websites to practice early level kanji

Hi everyone,

I have been using yomujp to practice my reading as it has lots of beginner-level passages; however, I’m looking for other free online resources that integrate some early-level kanji. I’d appreciate any relevant websites, workbook suggestions, etc. I have been trying with junior high newspapers but can only really understand the cartoon parts. As I have a lot of desk warming on my job, it would be great if I could find a resource that doesn’t make me look like I’m slacking off, haha.

Tadoku Graded reader and nhk web easy are some beginner friendly websites to read.
You could also check out this thread for extra resources.

I’ve just started using satorireader.com and I love it so far. The easiest stories are still way above my level (I’ve been self-studying Japanese for 3 months), but the annotations are so good that I can slowly and steadily read and enjoy the story (I started with The Jam Maker).

It uses your Wanikani API key to import the kanji you know into Satori!
