I wanted to reply to the summer readathon but got tangled up in WIFI issues (thank you, hotel wifi

During the spring challenge I discovered that I can have a lot of motivation and even more fun reading in Japanese! 
… but only for a month, after that it quickly became a source of stress for me. 
So I’ve decided to blatantly cheat (tentatively) participate for only the first month, and then switch my focus to something else (potentially listening?) for a change of scenery 
Hope that’s ok! The commitment of posting updates here and cheering on others was a wonderful experience for me!

Plans and Goals
Now that I finished Genki, I am planning on contributing more to the book clubs. For now I am submitting a weekly translation to the absolute beginner book club and reading past entries on my own.
I also pretty much abandoned my Stardew Valley playthrough because I have been too busy to spend the time on it. Maybe I will try to get back into it but with less determination to translate every sentence. It should be fun or else I won’t want to play it lol and skimming through sentences to get the gist is better than nothing at all.

Previous Read Japanese Every Day challenges
Wanted to participate in the previous Spring Challenge but I couldn’t make it due to reasons. I’d like to join this challenge, though, and I will focus on filling my book bingo for the next two or three months.
I don’t know what exactly I will be reading during the Summer Challenge but it will likely involve several manga volumes and a light novel or two. I only know that II’l be starting with ARIA完全版 volume 3 volume 4 on July 1st.
Lastly, thank you @DIO-Berry for continuing to host the reading challenge!
