There are quite a few threads complaining about the recent change of WK that answers aren’t accepted anymore if they don’t match the okurigana of the item. However, I don’t think that this is really that big of a problem, compared to another change that I noticed just very recently:

That’s a bit sad! I don’t think anyone has received a sect name in a long while, though. They seem like a fun way to engage or reward users and make the forum seem like a closer community where staff and users interact (in a way that isn’t just responding to endless complaints whenever there’s an update) informally. I’m sure the team has better things to do with their time, though.
AFAIK they stopped giving out sect titles when they moved the forum to discourse, but they did transfer the titles from the old forums to the new one.
No I got mine since. It’s just very rare.

Yes and I also had ghost of christmas durtle, or something like that.
By custom sect titles, I meant titles that aren’t related to badges, in other words, titles that the mods/koichi/some cool dude gave you manually (like Kumi’s title). These custom sect titles are all unique, so if a person has a custom sect title, then they’re the only one that has it.

I’ve got a unique one, dunno what should be called, in like 2017. But I have lost it forever somehow.
I recalled a community member asked for a sect, and got one.
Yeah I was only pointing out that ‘sect title’ shouldn’t mean that, but if that’s how they were using it then it is.
I swear I’ve seen people get them since I’ve been here. Which is a long time but not since before discourse. I think it’s more that only Koichi can do it and he seems to have kind of lost interest in playing around in the forum in the last few years.

Nah. It’s just being a Regular and change the forum display language to Japanese, then set a title.
