Can I suggest that this topic gets pinned? Quite a number of new threads are being created as different people encounter the problem, and it might help to make this more of a central hub for reporting on the issue (unless you guys create a specific one, I suppose).

For me it’s now just on lessons. I will finish learning a set, but then once I have to give responses for them, it will reload. I don’t get a lost connection message so I don’t know if it’s entirely related, but it seems like it’s happening to people in different ways.

The same thing is happening to me! If I press “enter” on my keyboard to input an answer during a post-lesson quiz, it’ll just reload the lesson. However, I am able to do the lessons on the tsurukame app.

Yeah, it happened to me twice during my reviews yesterday.

I haven’t, thank you for linking me. I did notice that tampermonkey updated over the weekend so I wonder if that + server issues are why the scripts are acting up.

I’m glad the team is on it. I had it happen a few times yesterday, but didn’t have any disconnects during 130 reviews just now!

I’ve had it probably five or six times today.

Since this indeed works (as well as just ignoring it and trying to type despite the timeout screen) maybe the error should just be a small warning in the corner of the screen which would disappear if the connection is restored. I didn’t have this issue though apart from idling for too long during reviews, so it doesn’t bother me that much :upside_down_face:

Haha yeah i do the same thing and keep going with the refresh screen still up if i’ve only got a few more to go. A small warning would be much better in my opinion, but like you said it’s a small thing and doesn’t bother me that much either.

I disabled my cookie blocker and my ad-blocker. And now it works greats. It might also have been a coincident with a new wanikani fix.

I’ve also been having this recently :frowning: though I am on WiFi right now as opposed to my usual Ethernet set up due to everything going on.

Hey @ Wanikani Support, just joining in to give my report so you can analyse this issue and fix it soon. I faced this twice while doing my 50 reviews just now. I type fairly fast so I suppose it might have been more than twice if I were slower. Hope you find the bug soon! (also sending sympathy as a future computer engineer who will most likely encounter equally frustrating bugs soon)
