Been waiting for months for this to happen, and I get a little discount due to the proration. Still in vacation mode for now until the academic year is over (since new textbooks are demanding attention right now), but hopefully I can pick up my pace again soon!

I was worried about juggling too many language subscriptions, but the annual sale + the advance warning helped me to finally bite the bullet. One less thing to worry about.

I’m a lifer!
I had one annual subscription and I’m already level 45, so I pondered quite some time whether I really need it, but hey, I realized I will basically need to start all over again after I reach level 60. There is still tons of ways to reinforce those kanji (with KameSame and writing practice).
The second reason is, as for many, the lifetime sub gives you the freedom of going your own pace and my pace will certainly slow down once the pandemic comes to an end.
Finally, I hope my brother will use this app in the future as well, so it’s a good investment.
Oh, and speaking of investment. It’s an especially good deal for Europeans currently (1€ = 1,22 $).

This year has been really bad for all of us, lots of unexpected things have happened and expenses have become harder and harder to maintain appropriately. Because of this, I’ve been planning my expenses really carefully for a few months, so I could save enough to pay for the lifetime winter sale, without it affecting my own financial development. But sadly, I couldn’t make it, and I won’t be able to pay for this opportunity unless a miracle occurs, or until next year, maybe.
If you’ve been under the same conditions I have, or if you’ve been doing great instead, I wish you good luck and great fortune, and great health for you and your families. I’ll just add that I’ve slowed down a lot. Like almost 100 days on a level so buying lifetime last year was smart and a no brainer.

Have been using annual sub for a year and seeing my own progress, now I can read about 10% of manga.
I set a goal if I get to Lv.25 before year end, I will change to lifetime sub.
And I got it !

You realize they prorate what you’ve already paid that year, right? So if you buy a yearly in July, you only pay half of the yearly rate.
I know that. I’m not really sure what are you getting at, though. I’m paying monthly and they don’t prorate for past monthly payments.
I’m glad you know that, that’s all I was checking for: knowledge of that fact.
