Kanji question

Hello everyone!

I’m reading “きょうの猫村さん” and got stuck on a strange kanji a couple of pages in. Does anyone know what it means? Is it ONE kanji? Or two? I’m so confused! Super thankful for your help. Also, I hope I posted this in the right place, I’m quite new on this forum :slight_smile: See picture of the strange kanji here, sorry about the bad image quality:

First one seems to be 仕 then either 占 or 石? (Probably 占) Third one is too vague for me to figure out. Can’t find any dictionary words that match anything I’m seeing. To be honest, my grammar is trash, so I don’t even know what the context is. ^^;;

WOW, thank you! Maybe it’s such a common compound so it is usually understood even though the handwriting is scribbly like this? Anyhow, I’m SO glad you helped me out, huge thanks!

Don’t worry. It took me quite sometime to figure it out as well. If I didn’t have the context clue I don’t know if I would have been able to decipher it :wink:
