Wanikani already assign part of speech data to vocabulary items. The Item Inspector script has an optional filter to filter items by part of speech.

The procedure to install the optional part of speech filter

  • Install Item Inspector and it prerequisites
  • Go to the settings by clicking on the gear button on the Item Inspector toolbar.
  • Click on the Settings tab
  • Scroll down to the optional filter list box
  • click on the part of speech
  • save your settings
  • Refresh your browser.

This last step is important. The optional part of speech filter will not show up until you refresh.

To use the optional filter here is the procedure.

  • Select the All Learned Items table in the tables dropdown box
  • Go to the settings by clicking on the gear icon
  • Select the Tables tab
  • Go down to the On the Table Settings section and select the filters tab
  • Scroll down to the Part of Speech filter and enable it by clicking the checkbox.
  • Select your criterion.
  • Save your settings.

Then the items with the selected part of speech will show up.
