In Animal crossing New horizons, there’s a T shirt called the “Hi Tee” that looks like this.
I can’t seem to find it by drawing on jisho. I assume it’s a greeting based on the name and also since there is a series of “other language hello” shirts like bonjour, hallo, ni hao, and こんにちは.

Seems like it’s used in Chinese. No info in most Japanese resources. A Japanese native I showed it didn’t know what it was.
