I watched Sousou no Frieren ep 11 + 12. Also finished watching a stream (7 days to die ft. Shu Yamino and Kanae). Also watched the Nijisanji EN + JP telephone game collab. That was hilarious. Big recommend.

Finally, she showed him she was the boss and there was no future for his twisted mind if he wanted to keep on their relationship. An end I wasn’t expecting but for which I’m clearly grateful as you don’t see that often in japanese romance

Yesterday I listened to Japanese From Small Talk, with 2 episodes. This does mean that it’s now overtaken Japanese with Shun as my most listened to item. However, I was getting a much better comprehension rate for Shun when I was 13h in than I am with Small Talk, so I don’t think I’ve outgrown this podcast yet the same way I did with Shun’s.
As for today, I watched 1 episode of New Game!, so I guess I’m back aligned for either a 2/day or 3/day schedule.

Charade Maniacs, going for Iochi’s route !
I like this character a lot so far. It’s a non binary character (rare in an otoge) with a lot of depth and humour, and a sense of justice and peace.
By the way, this game is surprising. I wasn’t waiting too much of it as I had read a review that wasn’t very enthusiastic about it, but I think it’s actually very interesting. Even if it’s a game with romance, romance isn’t the most interesting in it. The universe in it and the way the characters are trying to solve the situation they’re in is really enthralling

The Jam Maker on Satori Reader, episodes 4 to 6.
When I hear the text before reading it, I’m like : “I recognize nothing, I won’t be able to read anything”, but finally it’s not so difficult, and the second time I am able to follow better the story when I listen to it. I hope I will improve this way.
Maybe later, some episodes of The Apothecary Diaries and maybe a little more of Iochi’s route in Charade Maniacs.

Yeah, I guess being a forum for a kanji learning app gives more chance of finding people interested in reading than listening.

I had forgotten that, indeed. I generally think this community as a community of japanese learner, but you’re right, we’ve originally gathered around the app.
Is it different in the Learn Natively community for example, or others ?

Natively also favours reading, but then I’d say that app prefers reading also, since watching support was a later addition

I wonder what a watching club would look like. In any case, I like the concept
We could vote for an anime or a drama and watch it along one episode a week. It could be a lot of fun. We could even watch the episode together if someone streams its screen on discord, for example, and talk about it after. I would really like trying something like that.

Watched three more episodes of New Game! It’s still kinda funny they stuff they treat really seriously that wouldn’t raise an eyebrow in my workplace, while other things they gloss over that would get HR involved in real life.

Daily brief x2. I listened to the last one twice, and managed to pick up most of it, but it was hard…
耳から覚える 語彙 N1. Each unit is usually divided into 7 recordings, so probably convenient for daily training. 14 units, so 3 months, 1 season. I picked up around 80% of the vocabularies today, but probably no problemo after checking with the book.
