Should you be holding that cat against your kimono, Sumire?
I feel like the okaka onigiri is somehow a reference to the cat - like okaka (or okaka onigiri?) is considered cat food, or something. I’m pretty sure I read that somewhere, but I’m completely coming up blank with Google.

Also, starting to get a sense of how different the Netflix series portrayal of Momokosan-neesan is from this chapter …

Honestly thought the reason Momoko took a vacation last chapter was so that she could sneak back and take part in the marathon in this chapter, but no, apparently she’s allowed to do whatever she wants when she’s not actually working.
