I’m reading this in Harta (magazine it was originally published in) so I don’t have the bound volume page numbers.

Overall thoughts
This prologue is so cute, I like that the night that Mira summons somehow is not that sinister.

Yeah I never really felt sinister vibes, more like “I’m sad and lonely” (same) vibes.

For weeks that we don’t stop at the end of a chapter, I’ll be sure to post a pic of the final panel

Feeling good about the prologue, but only because I’ve seen the blurb about it on Bookwalker. I imagine as it goes on I’ll want to do some re-reading of earlier sections to scaffold my comprehension

train of consciousness thoughts

Summary

すればよかった = I wish I had done (in this case girl wishes she woke up earlier so she could have seen 師匠 before they left)

Ooh that’s beautiful, almost haunting.

It seems ミラ makes little nighttime creatures. Them existing is the reason 師匠 notices the problem. Mostly pointing out useage of ということ to myself but English not very equivalent.

HEADPATS ALREADY?

Well, consider me intrigued.

Since it’s with a picture of Mira as a mermaid, maybe it’s some kind of splashing or bubbling noise?

Looks like bubbles/water splashing is right

(I just remembered I meant to join this club, but I haven’t read the section yet! So that’s what I was forgetting…)

I finally have the time to catch up :slight_smile:

This is my first time participating in a book club so please feel free to tell me if I’m doing anything wrong.

The night is so beautiful. Especially the stars. We’re off to an intriguing start.

I’m also catching up! I’ve never participated in a book club before, but I finished a volume of another manga earlier tonight, and then promptly picked this one up in the hopes of quickly catching up.

I’ll also be sharing some stream of consciousness thoughts when I have them; I love liveblogging things and hope that’s fine!

Immediately deeply charmed by the art.
