Finished up week 3 and again I am falling a bit behind. Well, was kinda expecting it but I was blazing through the last 4 pages of this week’s chapter. Understanding is A-OK but I have to find more time to analyse the grammar structure. I guess I will look through the book again, after we are finished with it
And regarding the short katakana discussion a couple of days ago: I will also do it as before - only learning them indirectly. If they are show up more frequently through media or like books I will learn them eventually. Didn’t recognize internet e.g. today, lol. But that was also because of the ツ I did not recognized as small
This sentence stumped me for a while. I couldn’t figure out that last bit “めっちゃやる気ないだけらしい”
I understood it better after checking the grammar point at the end.
Also "やる気” was a totally new thing for me
Just finished this section and whilst I was able to generally get the gist of what was said, my lack of grammar made it quite hard to get exactly what each person was saying. For example, when all Ruri’s classmates were asking about her horns, I could tell they were saying things along the lines of “Hey, did they really grow?” but I struggled to get the exact translation right. Anyway, managed to get the gist of it on my own and then re-read with the help of the thread which clarified a lot. Looking forward to catching up to the current thread so that I can post my own attempted translations and get lots of help
Finished week 2 and 3’s content this week. Not sure if it’s the extra couple of weeks of other study since week 1, or the repeated use of the vocab/grammer from earlier in the chapter, but week 3’s content especially I found a lot easier than week 1’s when I first started, so I count that as a win.
