A mildly heartwarming side story, though it does bug me a tiny bit that 男子A doesn’t appear in the background at any point during the flashback.

Question is, do they start the conversation with Yasuda to distract him from the cake on purpose, or is it just standard Miyamura and His Goofy Pals being goofy?

Whew, this chapter got dangerously close to actually remembering the series’ original premise.

I haven’t even read it yet but with the title card I can imagine. I feel like the author felt our concerns from the past and decided to veer back to the origins
Now that I’ve read it, it definitely seems to be the case, we even got some pre-cut miyamura images. I mean I do like that he is reflecting on this change in his life. I don’t really like Hori’s わがまま moment though, and I didn’t really understand the reasoning at all

Oh, it’s earrings: part two.
Page 88, I’m with Tooru on this - surely magnetic earrings would pinch your earlobes.
And of course Yanagi is good at “blade” catching.

There are also spring-loaded-paperclip-like earrings. Those do hurt a bit. Not that I know, how could I know something like that… a friend told me, yea.
From now on I’ll try using バかるい人 as much as I can.

The book that Yuki is reading on the first page of the chapter is likely おれがあいつであいつがおれで. It’s had no less than seven live-action adaptations (two movies and five TV dramas, per Hori in the fourth panel), and two manga adaptations.
Kangaroos are definitely not cute.
I feel like most of this chapter’s plot is contained entirely within Yuki’s mind, not all of which we’re actually made privvy to.
