i started watching the anime, it is fun being able to pick up words here and there, but mainly i wanted to be able to have a bit more context than i might get from the still frames you get in the manga.

The thread this week was quite calm… but the japanese was fairly tame. Next week is a huge info dump on the magic cards, written all in kansai ben. Fun times.

Hello! Can someone help me with something?
So I am preparing the Mokuro’d versions of each week in advance. I made it so each week is treated as a “volume” when I run Mokuro. My setup is like so:
When I got to Week 14, according to the table it starts at page 180 and ends at 196. However, in my digital copy, it ends at page 186-187 and it looks like this:
And the “last” last page is just a scan of the cover leaves. Am I missing some pages in my copy?

That final page says “2巻へつづく” (continue in volume 2) so it looks like you should have everything! For that number are you looking at the Mokuro page count, or the page numbers printed in the manga? There might be credits pages/publisher pages missing from the scan that wouldn’t be read by the club anyway

I was looking at my manga copy and referring to the table on the home post, and according to it, on Week 14, the pages to be read are 180-196. But on my copy, it only says up to 189, so I thought I was missing pages.
I think the page numbering on my copy is accurate, for this volume at least:
I Mokuro’d it just as it is; didn’t change the page numbering.

Oh, I see! I would just continue on like normal and keep an eye on the discussion, just in case. Based on the final page being correct, I’m sure you have everything. But if you notice discussions about something different, then you’ll know you’re missing a page.

It looks like your digital copy is based on the original edition while the page numbers are based on the book walker copy which is the refurbished edition.
The difference is just a page of art and a page of a kero stamp between each chapter, so you can basically just deduct 2 pages every time we get to the end of a chapter to line your page numbers up with the ones in the club.
I have updated the schedule post to include an additional column for page numbers in the original edition.

That sounded confusing haha I’m sorry I should be in bed. But for what it’s worth, its isbn number corresponds to the OG one. So that’s the page numbering I should follow?
Ah if that’s so, I need to re run the Mokuro when I fix the pages haha
