This could also be because more people have signed up for the forums! I swear I remember when the new forums were installed there was some discussion that the number only counts users that have logged into the forums at least once.

Koichi was up on the rim of the volcano sacrificing some Durtles when this particular artwork was completed. His copy is undoubtedly still several layers deep in the inbox, so he’s taken the efficient route by photocopying the forum announcement at the nearest konbini instead.

I feel like I’m a guru of “I’m back! -vanishes for another two years-” situations at this point but… I’m back!
And after seeing just how many reviews I’ve had when I logged in - decided to reset once more because hell no I’m not going through that.
Glad I was able to grab lifetime this time - being physically unable to pay for sub because I’m located in Russia was the primary reason I had to stop using WaniKani last time, but thankfully that won’t be an issue anymore.

Tofugu used to have a store that sold physical products, including stickers. It was closed in 2021.
