Hi. I’ve been doing my Wanikani reviews when I suddenly see this:
The second picture, it’s supposed to be 画 but it shows as this. My Standard and Serif font is set to “Noto Sans JP”, and if I search something on google, for example 直す、it shows as the japanes version, not the chinese one, so I assume this is a Wanikani only issue. And no, I don’t have Tampermonkey. If anyone could help me out I’d be very grateful! Thanks!

This might help. I encountered the same issue.

WaniKani seems to have the <span lang="ja"> included for all relevant elements. So I’m not even sure, if that’s the issue here. However I had the same font mixup on other websites, so better change it globally.
