Ooooooooh! The next few batches are awesome as well! MOCHI!
Have a nice break!
Am happy to help
I still see the vocab for cough locked
you need to guru the kanji before you can learn its vocab. (should be impossible to have guru’d the cough kanji at this point.)
Oh my life. I’m a complete idiot and I had an exhausting day at work. Right. Time to sleep and wait for what’s left of my brain to wake up
hah, don’t worry, it happens. Your brain was probably busy processing japanese
Amazing, beautiful, work of art
Thank you Jenny!
岳 got moved to level 45 somewhere between July 1 and today, right? I couldn’t find any mention of it here or in the “Content Updates” posts WaniKani / Kanji / 岳
Yes this was just a couple of hours ago, and will be in today’s update post
Is it possible to add the level moves to the advance notification? I’ve taken over maintaining the Kanji Highlighter user script and as it doesn’t need/want constant API access, the advance warning means I can prep the changes in advance, with only a couple of clicks to go live on the day!
Ah yes okay, we’ll try to add future movements to this thread from now on!
Hey I got a minor bug with the warning message during my last reviews
I typed ぢめん instead of じめん and got a warning talking about ん.
Ooh something that will matter for speedunners is that 47 will become a slow level on August 5th.
Thanks for letting us know!
Would be cool if we had a choice to toggle on the new content at a later point in time when the audio files are attached.
Right now, nearly all these new words are instant leeches for me as I’m not getting an audio reinforcement / connection to learn. Except for 狼, that one did not become insta-leech.
Hi @pinemarten! Apart from a few last minute additions, all the new words should have audio
The following doesn’t have audio:
Cool. Sorry about that. I guess I thought there were more non-audio additions in my lessons. Please disregard.
Can I suggest adding 市場 at some point in the future, or some other word involving the いち reading for 市. It seems to me to be common enough to learn on Wanikani (often trips me up when I encounter words that use that reading).
