[UserScript] WaniKani Left Right

Requested by KonsomeJona, challenge accepted by yours truly.  Maybe challenge is the wrong word, it was pretty straight forward.
Changes the reviews to be left/right, instead of top/bottom.  Personally, I don’t like it, but I can see that many probably would, so enjoy.

It's for people on tablets. Or maybe also for dual monitors. I dunno...

The actual review portion takes up the left 50% of the screen, and the info take up the right 50%.  Side by side like that screenshot.  Instead of the info area being below where you type your answer.

Still all on one screen.  Guess I need to take a better screenshot next time reviews come up :-/

Look who’s on a scripting spree ;p

I guess it could be for those with dual monitors or something like 21:9. For 16:9 it makes no sense.

Well the idea behind it was that when you click on the more info, you have to scroll down to read everything.  With the info being on the right half of the screen, you are then able to see everything without having to scroll at all.  But yeah, terrible concept.  Sorry for wasting your time.

Why wasting time? I was curious how it looks like so I checked it.

 Oh, it's a single screenshot?
How didn't I see this sooner?

This seems like it would be more useful if the horizontal dimension of the left side was reduced, which would make for a better aspect ratio.

If anyone were to find it useful, I'm open to making tweaks to it, or making that a setting.  But so far, its looking like this is a dud.

a) It could be useful, as mentioned on tablets.
b) There's a lot of empty spaces on the left side anyway
c) It doesn't seem too difficult to just set the width of the left div to something like 30%?

Alright, default left side is 30%.  You can change it if you wish from the Menu on main page, like my other scripts

Oh man, I was coming on here to make this feature request actually, to have the size of the left side be customizable. This is awesome.

This is no dud, trust me. Ironically, I find this useful because I have a tiny screen, and the fact that Wanikani always has to pan down to show the extra information always really bothered me. It’s nice to be able to have it all on one screen without the annoying scrolling.

I’m not gonna lie, this script makes the layout incredibly ugly (through no fault of the script maker obviously, Wanikani looks good the way it was designed), but functionally for my uses this is so much more useful. Seriously thank you! I was actually hoping a script like this would pop up one day. So don’t write this one off, you’ve at least made two people’s days with this script.
