Looks fun and helpful indeed! Using your burned items is neat because it's easier but also good practice. And I'm noticing I'm forgetting quite a few items I burned on WK over time. When I notice, I add them to Anki, where they never get burned. But a crossword puzzle is a more fun way to refresh, and will also help you notice those items.

Hi, are these freebies mostly manga?

And do they stay in your account forever or just a limited time?

I got a Takagi San freebie (from the Moto series) but it expires in 18 days.

I’m just curious whether all the freebies do this?

I saw 3 types.

• Limited time
• First chapter only
• Full volume

And limited time ver. vs full volume, aren’t really the same. There may be some differences in advertisement attached.

Also, limited time aren’t really removed from my account. It stayed as an unreadable zombie, and had to be removed (archived) manually, even if I subsequently buy an actual volume.

Sorry, super noob question, but after you buy books on bookwalker, can you read them offline? I’d test it myself but my phone has really limited space

Not directly after buying. You have to read once first, i.e. downloading. (If offline, it will also say – fail to sync.)

You can read offline through the Bookwalker app (Android or iOS). You do need space on your device for the book of course. You need to be online to add the book to a “bookshelf” and open it so it downloads, then you can read offline.
I don’t think you can read offline on the computer though, as you have to go through the website to access your library every time.
