This one was much easier! I may still manage my objective of reaching level 40 by end of August!
Also, I have 32.9% of items still to unlock… that means I’m officially in the last third of Wanikani content!
Feels strange… I plan to slow down a bit after I reach the “paradise” levels, give much more time to grammar and book clubs…

I’m starting to focus more on faster leveling up again after many months of taking it very slowly. At least 20 items every day if available and maybe up to 30 if I’ll feel like going faster.
My goal is level 30 by spring 2026 because I plan to travel to Japan once again sometime in March or April and I’d like to know as many Kanjis as possible by then. I’ve read multiple times on this forum that the first 30 levels provide pretty much everything you need to read anything essential, like menu items in restaurants.
Going beyond level 30 is of course always good, but level 30 should be a pretty reasonable goal for now. Any extra Kanji knowledge is always helpful.

Came faster than I expected, especially since work has been crazy and I’ve been working through lunch (which is when I do a large amount of my studying).
But somehow I managed!
Yes, Tsurukame is so good!!. I can’t believe I went through like 4-5 months of regular WK before getting an app. Soooo much better this way!

Still maintaining consistent pacing. This week I was very lazy with grammar study, addicted to gaming, have to catch up now.
I’m enjoying the ‘post 60 progression’ bar. Will enjoy seeing that white part shrinking every week.

I hope you get to reach your goal!
While at Lv30, you would know a lot of kanji. Just be aware that you would still not know roughly 1 in 5 of top 1000 most common kanji. And that knowing kanji isn’t the same as knowing the vocab (and grammar to use it). I was in a similar situation, so just want to temper your expectations.

This may be the fastest I’ve ever gotten a 0/0 after starting a new level. I got it so quickly that I’m still waiting for most of the radicals to reach Guru and unlock the remaining Kanji that I need. While I could’ve waited for about a week to unlock everything and then make the post “properly”, I may not be in a mood for that by then.
