Lv 35!
Pretty happy I can keep this going. I kinda let the reviews piled up cause I was tired, had to do 350+ reviews alone to keep up 0/0 streak.
A massive amount of items waiting to be burnt coming soon!
Nothing wrong with the scenic route!
This was a hard 0/0. I really struggled on some of these.
But 28->29 here I come. The ones I need are ones I retain well enough that I shouldn’t get delayed.
Woah good work! Curious how many apprentice items you usually have at once?
Usually 150 ish. Though right now it’s closer to 200 but that’s not typical. Might be why this level felt harder though!
Awesome, thanks for the info! Still trying to find my rhythm!
Lv 36!
I’ve managed my time better this week, so there’s no massive review piles like last week. Im still trying to study more grammar in addition to Wanikani. But I can’t quite get into a good schedule for learning grammar yet. Feeling suboptimal on it.
Level up in 1.5hr!
This was a hard level, not really sure why it gave me so much trouble… There seems to be a block of kanji and vocabulary that I simply can’t get to stick and they keep swinging in and out of Apprentice level. I will have to see what to do with those. I guess I could still maybe reach my objective of reaching level 40 by end of summer (let’s say… End of September at this point). I’m glad that my apprentice item are still quite low, near my limit of around 100 items…
Lv 37!
This is a tough level. Normally I would memorise kanji’s reading and meaning pretty quickly. But some of them this time required me to ponder on it a bit before an answer popped up, even after Guru’d it and working on its vocab.
Still going at a steady pace! I kinda wanna reach lv 60 before new year, but that would require doing the ‘quick level’ at max speed, or 4 days or so. Doubling current workload.. I dont think that’s doable for me.
Lv 38!
I felt this level wasn’t as had as the previous one, but I feel really tired. Still!, managed another 0/0. Soon I willl out of the 30s and into 40s!
Haven’t studied as much grammar as I wanted, fulll speed WK is really tiring. If I can manage to break my own speed streak, I would like to slow down to 14 days per level, starting at Lv 45+. That would be 90%+ of the top 1500 most common kanji. By then I really should have no issue with not recognising a kanji in some random words in a native content.
Knowing myself, I will probably try to keep going at this speed until Lv 60 though. But I feel it won’t be a good use of my effort. Kanji will get more complicated and also appearing less frequentlly in native content, so overall less productive use of time.
