hitting 0/0 feels great, I used to have difficulty hitting 0/0 on busy school days or weekends because I didn’t have the motivation, it would snowball and then a week or two later it would pile up to 500-800+ words and take hours to whittle down… who knew all I needed was a 9-5 desk job and time to kill lol. Now I’m hitting 0/0 every day! (I swear I’m working don’t tell my boss)
Ah man a 9-5 job is what got me a consistent schedule to learn too lmao. I was trying to hard to study and hyper focus and then burnt out back when I had flexible work hours. Now with the schedule I just try to do most of the reviews/lessons at work instead. And then at home I just let myself relax instead. Works out way better for me.
I am due to go back to 9-5, shift work is a pain after 5 years…
I failed to continue my streak of daily 0/0 as I was traveling to support my friends who were doing their triathlon race plus after moving to L39, too many lessons to clear.
3 June to 5 July, 33 days, that wasn’t bad.
Now I need to start again.
L39, 232 reviews, 69 lessons.
Lv 33!
After some short break, I’m back!
Actually gotten 0/0 streak going for a few months now, but I wanted to make sure I’m really back on a consistent effort before starting to engage with the community again. And 33 is a nice symmetric number, and I wish to complete WaniKani before I turn 33 in about a year!
This time I can really feel myself going all the way to the end!
Those 6 apprentice still remains must be pretty tough to memorise?
I’m curious
Ok, managed to get 0/0, 12 minutes before midnight here in Singapore.
Some new kanji and vocab got added recently
叶 (very common in novels)
姪 (first time learning it)
But I do have some leeches that go between Guru II and Enlightened forever. I keep mixing up some kanji and can’t distinguish them without context.
To battle this I started to practice writing recently. If you don’t know the radicals, you don’t truly know the kanji and hesitate. Heck I couldn’t even remember how to write 何 recently XD
