Stupid Wanikani Script Ideas

A script that, every time you give an incorrect answer, inserts a random non-WK kanji/vocab from jisho.org into your review queue.

script that subtly changes your kango vocab cards

運絡
記緑
快定
陽所
刑究
末来
奇秒
秘蜜

then marks you wrong unless you use handwriting input to draw the correct one

…kinda want this actually

this would be murder

A script that only allows you to study one kanji at a time. Only after you burn that kanji, you get the next one.

… Burn? It’d take you a thousand years to learn all the kanji at that rate.

Maybe write a script for infinite lives, too.

Well it did ask for stupid Wanikani script ideas

A script that installs one of the above scripts in your browser every time you get something wrong, so you never know what ordeal you’re going to be dragged through next.

As script that auto-renews you for a year every time you get an answer wrong.

A script that changes the green indicator that shows your answer is correct to look exactly the same as the red indicator which shows you’re wrong.

Script where every time you get an answer wrong, it opens that items vocab/kanji page in a new tab on your browser. In long sessions and with anything but stellar accuracy on a good system, you’ll likely crash

Actually, I really want this for real, as I have a notebook full of wrong answers. Punishment for getting an answer wrong is writing it out. Auto tab open to the info page would be really, really, nice.

I thought the same thing, but thought it would crash the browser. Although, pages don’t load fully until you first click into them, so maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. Why not make a thread about it in this subforum and see if someone would be willing to make it? I’ll throw in my support.

Every time you get a こう kanji wrong, a gif of a betrayed-- no, heartbroken! Koichi pops up.

Hey that one is just called @aki-o, no need to call me out like that…

A script that, whenever you fail a review, automatically adds what you did type to the synonym list.

A script that, when you fail a review, will not move on until you answer the same question 100 more times correctly.

A script that, if there are multiple accepted answers, randomly picks one each time and gives you the shake and refuses to accept any of the others. So you have to know them all and try them one-by-one until you get lucky.

A script that automatically schedules an Outlook appointment in your calendar for every hour reviews will be due (and declines all existing conflicting appointments)

A script that does what this does, but for wrong answers in reviews.

A script that posts to an 8-year old thread every time you give a wrong answer.

A script that appends every forum post with tagging a random user right before sending.

@LupoMikti what’s your cursed WaniKani script idea?
