Speaking practice via Discord

Would anyone be interested in having zoom meetings for conversation practices?

Absolutely! I haven’t spoken Japanese in such a long time.

Sounds fun! Not sure if I’ll be able to participate at the times you choose, but I’m up for it!

Possibly! What time are you thinking. Also what time-zone are you thinking in?

My time zone is FL (GMT-4). Eastern daylight I think.
I was thinking night meetings anywhere from 7-midnight.

That works for me. I’m in California.

I’m interested in this but my conversational skills are lousy. I might have to just listen for a bit.

Same here, I have written practice, but no spoken practice yet.

I’m a beginner, but can I still join (may be to try to listen to at first)?

I’m also looking for casual speaking practice.

I’d prefer discord over Zoom if possible - don’t have a camera anyways.

I’m MST so only 2 hours behind you @Anim3Lov3r

This could be fun, although my speaking is also atrocious so I’d be in the “listening but barely participating” camp if this happened. :joy:

Hey, that’s definitely a first step. I haven’t spoken in a long time, but hoping it comes back quick. Hopefully from there some more experienced people can help out the rest!

I can do discord too, there is video support on voice channels, and you can use your phone as a webcam, too, if you wanted
