I didn’t know how much time I would have to read, so I decided to read manga today. Skip Beat is my favorite manga, and I have also read this volume in Japanese before, so it is easy to stop reading at any page. But I had more time than expected, so I finished the volume.
I’ve read about 12 volumes in Japanese before, but now I’m deciding to read the whole thing from the beginning. It is much easier than a couple of years ago, which reminds me of how much I progressed.
I read the second to last chapter of volume 1 of Yotsubato and also read just a little bit more of Mushoku Tensei. Unfortunately, where I live, it’s summer at this time of year, and today was really hot day, so it was hard to concentrate
This week’s club section for werewolf survival game and more Honzuki. Still getting used to the writing style for Honzuki but it got easier as I went on. Sadly I won’t have much time for reading this coming week.
Ran out of time to post yesterday, but I did my reading both days. 1 chapter each day (so chapters 2 and 3) from 名探偵コナン Vol. 17. Hoping to get through a bit more the next two days, since it’s the weekend…
Yesterday I managed to read one chapter from I Will Not Reach You and one chapter from Bluelock.
Although there was still a couple of difficult pages, overall the second chapter of I Will Not Reach You was a much easier read than the first. The plot feels a little tropey so far in that both mcs obviously like each other but neither realises the other does but I’m still enjoying it.
Bit of the same as for listening, if some read it. Any way, I’ve done the Autumn reading challenge and I liked it a lot for helping me being productive, so I’m naturally joining this one again!
New year has been busy, so I’m a bit late, but I’m gonna give it my best. Good luck to everyone as well
Finished the first 3 chapters of 理由 by 宮部みゆき, didn’t think it would take this long to finish the first 120 or so pages but the prose is dense (reminiscent of a documentary’s narration style). The story is pretty interesting so far
January 3
Three more texts from 日本語N1文法・読解まるごとマスター.
Two of them were about mountain climbing. I learnt the word ザイル which comes from the German word Seil. I love this book. Of course I’m not sure if it will help me pass JLPT N1 but it’s still interesting to read.
Final Fantasy VII Remake finished chapter 10 and started the next chapter. The sewer part was way too long and boring and the train yard ghost level seems to be some nonsense just to make the game longer.
Trails of Cold Steel 2 just did a quest where I helped a grandma find her lost kitten.
Did a little bit of JoJo for the book club last night. Slowly but steadily making up for lost time and trying to get the questions and vocab back on schedule. If I get my act together next week, maybe I can get totally caught up.
