Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel 2
I was not in the mood to talk to all people once again. I decided to only talk to the people in the newly available areas. But I am doing all the quest which are available. The second part of chapter 2 seems to be shorter than the previous part. I don’t know for sure but I think I am probably in the last third of this game.

- Two more chapters of 正反対. The first was pretty chill but the second had a lot of introspective dialogue that was quite difficult to parse. I really hope the next few volumes I have have higher scan quality because some characters are actually quite difficult to decipher, especially with the whacky choice of fonts sometimes.
- More elf san. Alas, this chapter goes on really long for my current skill level and it’s mostly fantasy stuff which I’m less familiar with and find more difficult. But still getting my 4%.

More Bluelock. This was probably the fastest I’ve read a chapter, and with only one lookup!
For the light novel I’ve reached where I was aiming to get to this month, and it didn’t feel as painful as I anticipated. I’m intending to keep the momentum with one or two pages a day for the rest of the month.

More progress on 君の名は. Didn’t spend too much time on it, mostly just on the train back from work, maybe 30 minutes.
Very unsure about コーヒーが冷めないうちに being a natively lvl 26 book atm. It’s easy, but I don’t think it’s that level compared to other stuff on natively. I guess stuff like that happens with rating systems.
Anyway, finally started reading it again! I first started working through it last summer, at about wk lvl 25(?)ish and maybe just being about n4 level. Surprisingly that didn’t last long. In the autumn I pushed my way through about 65 pages over a few weeks, but then it got too much again ( I know that that’s where it was, because I remember a really dense section talking about 五郎 and work stuff which stopped me in my tracks, but this time I just got through it without too much trouble). Then I reset back down to about pg. 48, where I kinda left it off. The best part about taking long breaks between trying to read a book is every time, since the previous time, I notice just how ridiculously quicker and more easily it flows. Seeing the difference between when I started getting maybe 20% of it, to later trying to push through slowly to get 50-60% understanding, compared to now, where I can breeze through a page every minute or two and get 95% of it without thinking too hard, is pretty crazy. Anyway, the book’s a bit long, but I’ve already read it (and all the sequels that are in English) as the English versions last year, and I’ve seen the film adaptation multiple times (top 2 Japanese film for me!). I know plenty of people have mixed feelings about its saccharinity, but I love it. This time is the time I’m going to actually finish it. And if/when I do, I’ll probably try and get through the whole series this year.

two chapters of 3月のライオン, and finished vol 16! it’s leading into an arc that’s been building for a while (specifically the shogi match between kiriyama and nikaidou) so i’m looking forward to it! did a whole 15 pages of psycho-pass, nothing too difficult in there for once. or, well, more difficult than usual

One chapter of ふらいんぐうぃっち as always, plus one chapter of 徒然日和 for the Natively book club. Now I just want to read more! Maybe I’ll read a little Zenitendou before bed.
