Short reading day yesterday because work was busy, but managed to fit in time for half of the first chapter of 君には届かない Vol 2, and the first story for this week’s reading of Doraemon with the ABBC
Thanks everyone who helped with the explanations of all the jealousy words, I’ll have a proper look over what you’ve posted today!
read one whole chapter of 3月のライオン before getting exhausted, it was basically inner monologue of a new character who is an overthinker and my god can the man talk. tummy problems ruined my psycho-pass plans.
Even when I read very little I do usually learn or reinforce at least one thing.
No matter how little you do some days, those little things still add up to a meaningful amount of progress over a full year.
I’ve been reading 薬屋のひとりごろ further little by little this first week. I’d like to dive better into it some day for a good few hours though to really get going with it.
For a manga I might buy シャドーハウス soon and also read more of よつばと since I already have it.
デスノート - Chapter 7 finished. With this, I have finished the first volume
My thoughts: Not super easy, but certainly not very hard either. I think this is the perfect thing to read for my current skill level - the grammar doesn’t seem too difficult and there is furigana. The biggest problem is when the sentences get very long and I get lost. On average, reading a chapter took me around two hours. Hopefully, the time it takes me to read this manga will only get shorter and shorter from now on
Haha, what is this. I didn’t know there were these small, silly stories at the end of a volume. Now I’m even more motivated to read the whole thing so that I can read every single story
January 6
Today I read one page of 日本語N1文法・読解まるごとマスター
about some painter.
Trails of Cold Steel 2
I watched the next four bonding events. Now all bonding events are out of the way and I can continue with the main story.
Final Fantasy Remake finished chapter 13, the underground lab level was not that interesting, and started the next chapter which has a bunch of optional quests. Of course I want to finish them all.
Hit the climax of 四つ子 and couldn’t stop myself from reading another chapter (helps I had more time this morning). Hitting the point where you can’t stop reading in Japanese is so satisfying. Lots and lots of new (and old) words to ingest though.
Another chapter of How do we Relationship, very satisfying to read.
I also scanned the first chapter of 7日間限定彼女, a random yuri manga, doesn’t have a tankobon yet so hard to keep track of. Seems cute enough though. Again feeling vaguely rewarded I can scan it relatively easily (though as usual lots of brick wall words I don’t know, etc, but less than there used to be)
