I read 2 chapters of 可愛いだけじゃない式守さん。 Then, because I couldn’t resist, I also read the omake to finish off the volume. Oops. So now I’m at two completed manga volumes in Japanese!
I put volume 2 in my cart but I’m holding off on checking out since I’m trying to resist BookWalker’s sales (and failing OTL)
I might have made a lifestyle change that’ll make reading a lot easier to commit to lol.
I also started Part 7 of JoJo for uh reasons. If I fail at the reason, then I’ll share. If I succeed, maybe I’ll share. It depends.
As far as the actual manga goes, the second half of the first chapter was incredibly hard but I think it’s because they talked about logistics in the most ridiculous terms possible. Chapter 2 was a hella lot easier. It’s still overall harder than the other Parts I’ve read so far though I think.
Not a Guy got confusing because I was using a second bookmark to mark where to stop but instead I started reading from that spot…
As for the doujin good spice. It was manga pages for a larger novel fanfic. I’d love to go back and read it once I can read that much text without mental blockage. Although I guess I’ll try Dracula again in May, so we’ll see how that goes.
so turns out the reason i’ve been finding everything so difficult lately is cos i was getting sick ah well, all being well it should clear up in a week
pixiv and other stuff elsewhere both today and yesterday, not really got the energy for much more
Sakura and Suzuki on Satori Reader, ep. 39 to 43 (final episode).
It means I’ve finished reading my second series on Satori Reader
I liked it a lot and I think I could have read even more episodes of this story.
At the end, I was looking less and less at the translation of the full sentences, so I’m pretty proud, I feel I’ve improved.
At the same time, I keep reading the volume 11 of 薬屋のひとりごと, 4 or 5 pages a day before sleeping.
Had more busy days but read episodes 37 - 43 of Sakura and Suzuki. That’s the third series on Satorireader I’ve finished! Yayyy! Congrats on finishing the same series @macalys !
So thankful for Satorireader especially on busy days when all I have is time while commuting or waiting for someone! I still get to practice reading and listening on the go using the app.
I translated all of the ingredients and measurements for a recipe in a kid’s cookbook. I also read pages 50-53 of a girls magazine called ちゃお, two level 1 stories, and one short N5 article from Watanoc.
Decided why not to just finish up (what I have of) ほろ酔い (though actually maybe I should have done this week’s 駄菓子屋 reading?). Oh well, this is fine too. My usual no-lookup run will probably get through this today comfortably, then I have to decide what to start reading casually next… well, it’s not like I have a shortage of candidates.
I will say that I think I prefer reading on through a single series than my previous approaching of bouncing all over the place… but it’s not too often I have a whole stock of books to read since usually only the first few books of a series go on sale. Crafty booksellers!
Read this week’s pages of 気になってる人が男じゃなかった for the BBC and a chapter of 小さな森のオオカミちゃん。She’s slowly becoming a big sister to more and more human girls, and it’s really cute.
舞妓さんちのまかないさん chapter 19, which along with the omake finishes up volume 2! There was one page that had me looking up a lot of desserts and then I realized I was actually really hungry
I was able to read and parse through all of Week 8 of the ABBC’s Ruri Dragon in a day! This was much easier than Week 6 and 7. I think it had less complicated grammar points.
Congrats !
From what I’ve been reading from you, I have the impresssion that you didn’t like this series as much as I did, though ?
What are you gonna read next on satori reader ?
