I’m joining again at least for October! Last challenge was my first one and I ended up mostly dropping out after a very successful July. I had two weeks of vacation in July, and right after work resumed I had to drop quite a few hobby-related things.
I decided to postpone my other two weeks of summer vacation to this month: we are heading to 東京 and 大阪 with my wife on the 10th for two weeks, so I will surely be reading at least a little bit every day – if only to decide which physical books to bring home with me.
The only book club I’m up to date with is 
ヤニ吸う. I’m catching up with quite a few other clubs: 
DBJG, 
Quartet and 
風の谷のナウシカ.
I also started playing VNs, right into the deep end with 
AI: The Somnium Files and participating in the 
マルコと銀河竜 club.
I will one day read 星界の紋章〈１〉帝国の王女, one of the original reasons I started learning Japanese in the first place. I’m taking the very first steps towards this target this autumn: I managed to extract the text from my legally bought eBook already, now I just need to split the words into decks and prelearn some hard sci-fi & space opera vocabulary… The author is a conlang enthusiast and of course that features heavily, taking the place of traditional ふりがな in words like 空識覚.
