As usual, I spent way too much time on the pre-writing questions and then had no energy left for the reading At this point, I think I’m enjoying writing more than reading.
Went for a blind-listening again this chapter. Was much less brutal than last chapter, understood a lot!! (understood better the first text than the second one, but even this one I got the gist of it)
Okay I didn’t catch at all during my blind-listening that ベルトラン was Bertrand, and I’m French (I did catch that they said フランス a lot though, should have tipped me off)
For me, it depends on the topic a lot. The Yomimono in chapter 7 was kind of boring for me, because all this stuff about cultural differences among exchange students was either facts I already knew or stuff that’ll never be relevant to me. This chapter was better.
…And now I’m having another involuntary break week, because I’m travelling again and couldn’t bring the textbook .
This was my favorite writing so far. Like @armintehgreat, I had to write about myself, and if you’ve ever peeked at my study log you know I make amigurumis, so I wrote about that.
Btw, I just finished the grammar part and realized that the Frieren scene I posted also contains にこだわる. What a surprising treasure trove of in-the-wild-ness.
I won’t post anything today then then we continue with listening next week. Or I can post listening and then break before next chapter, let me know if you prefer that!
