This is a feature request. I couldn’t find an appropriate section for them, so this is where I’m putting it.
Being able to see another user’s progress in a level (if given permission by the user) would be great. A friend and I reset together and keep each other accountable, and we’d like to be able to see where the other person has reached in their level as we try to level up together.
Is this something that @Mods are willing to consider?
If not, @rfindley, is this something you would perhaps include in wkstats? So two API keys with stats side by side?
Came here to recommend this too, and if you want more information than that, you could also look at these pages. Just fill in the username instead of mine and you’ll be able to see the exact SRS distribution that someone is working with.
I usually use it to fact check the usual “WK is /so hard/takes so much time/” complaints. Like, oh look, you have 600 items in Apprentice. That might be the problem.
Heya! At this time, we don’t have any features in the works for progress sharing, but who knows, maybe in the future we will want to do something like this. We’ll keep this in mind when deciding on and creating new features on WanKani.
