PC browser = hiragana, mobile browser = katakana?

So I’m out of house all day, waiting to get work done at the bank and I thought I’ll utilise my time getting some reviews done on my phone. But when I typed on my keypad in IME the characters were recognised as katakana and my answers were marked wrong because they aren’t in hiragana. I don’t really understand why this would happen, can the team look into this?

Do you have caps lock ON on your keypad? WK converts capitalized letters into Katakana, also maybe you set your IME in Katakana mode, which one are you using?

Ah the first letter is automatically capitalized, so maybe that’s the issue, thanks!

If you are using Swiftkey you can turn this off
