Olympians (medalists announced - congrats everyone!)

Well, it really depends I guess?
Both going from level 16 to 35 and from level 35 to 60 is easier than going from N4 to N3 and N3 to N2.
In an ideal scenario I’d agree, but moving your grammar, listening and reading at the same pace as WaniKani means either you have lots of free time or you’d need to slow down WaniKani.

I don’t think being 60 and only being N3’ish is necessarily a bad thing, but then again, would have to ask some 60’s on their opinion. I know plenty finished around N3, if they’d do it again is another question.

Before my reset, I was going somewhat slow on WaniKani while moving my grammar along at the same pace and it didn’t really work. Two week levels just weren’t for me. I enjoy going through WaniKani faster.

Hahahahahahaha! Bring it @GrumpyPanda!! 力いっぱいがっんばろ!
And Thanks @FennelFox! :wink::grin:

yay!!! i’m joining as well! This is such a great idea, honestly! it’s great to always have an extra motivation, and for me especially, after new year’s holidays it’s been very hard to keep up with a decent speed, so i’m hoping this will provide the extra push to kick myself back into studying…

I hope i edited the wiki properly :upside_down_face:

I probably won’t be able to manage both a year abroad to study science communication along some ongoing school projects and working towards N2 so I set myself the N4/N3 goal because I’m probably gonna struggle more with grammar than I am with currently with kanjis. I’ll see though, who needs sleep anyway :eyes::eyes:

Hello everybody! This is my first post in the forums whatsoever! Fully pumped to hit the summit by next year as well! Can’t edit the wiki, so please add me to the leaderboard (Level 6)!

I don’t know how I missed this until now but I‘d love to join if still possible. (edit: guess it still is, I‘ll just sneakily add myself…; I used the brutal wkstats truth as „average level speed“ - not a number I wanted to see…)

@GrumpyPanda talking about the penguin yakuza worries me a bit though but no risk, no fun, I guess.

One more off topic remark (sorry!): I’m a huge fan of happy axolotls :heart: so seeing a sad axolotl makes me a bit sad but welcome to the community anyway @sad-axolotl ! I hope you‘ll be a slightly happier axolotl when we all reach level 60 in 2020. 頑張ろう!
