Learning to Read... Again

Well, I am once again requesting the aid of the very helpful people here in WaniKani Community… my apologies for the inconvenience
I am not very good at reading, so I am looking for advice on how to start? Like places to continue learning kanji and vocabulary, written grammar, etc. Of course I am using WaniKani, but I am wanting to start actively reading and working on my skills. :kissing:

Any advice is welcome!

this is a super popular thread here on WK that should get you going! :kissing_smiling_eyes:

I’m also an avid Marumori fan. If you already know hiragana and katakana you can skip past the Pre-N5 stage and start at the N5 one instead. You may breeze through the first few levels, but once you start learning conjugation and other grammar points, it starts to challenge you and really help you learn. They have reading practice built in as well with everything you’ve learned!

If it’s reading you want – then here are some of my favorite free resources:

There’s also

which is the easiest way to get into reading and listening (and it also has a lot of notes on grammar), but this one is not free

Anyway, best of luck with your studies! wricat

This might not be the most practical tip, but I thought it was a very interesting discussion:
