Hey guys,
I’m looking for a pretty basic listening resource that I can stick on my car stereo during my daily commute to and from work.
I just want to listen to someone speaking basic Japanese, like a radio show or something. I’m not after a language learning resource that keeps stopping intermittently to explain everything.
Any recommendations?

I listen to the NHK hourly news podcasts:
https://www.nhk.or.jp/r-news/podcast/nhkradionews.xml
I have got real good at listening to numbers from this. There are constantly temperatures, rainfall amounts, stock prices. etc.

It’s not as basic (or just speech), but if you need a break and still want Japanese this is pretty fresh
They do stop to say the song title and maybe a little about it. But as I said, this is more of a, still immersed but break-esque.

I’ve enjoyed Pimsleur via audible. Sometimes it’s a bit slow, so I play it at 1.4X speed.
Thanks everyone. I really appreciate your replies and recommendations.

I get why to speed it up, except for the thing where I already feel like I don’t have enough time to reply at 1x.
How do you answer so fast?
I speed up ones that I’ve listened to before.
