Today I listened to
Sound Euphonium episode 4! It was fun to hear them perform after they actually practiced!! My favorite side character right now is definitely Goto, he’s funny hehe

MIU404 episode twooooo for the first time, yippee!! I was nervous I would only have less than 50% comprehension like with the last episode, but I am very very happy to report there was vast improvement!! Maybe I am placeboing myself 
which is possible, BUT, this was like 70-80% comprehension!!! I’m SO HAPPY! I understood all the main ideas, with no subs or rewinding, some sentences or fast parts were difficult but mainly when they call into the radio. The radio parts are the hardest haha. But there was repeated vocabulary, and I think I am more used to their characters and their speed now, hopefully. The first episode is so awesome, and I love it, and I think it’s the PERFECT foundation and setup to the characters. BUT, I forgot how much better it gets even already by the second episode! And then it just gets better and better. Man the second episode is intense and so memorable. And it’s the first appearance of the Melon truck!!! Ehehehehehehe, I literally giggled my way through this whole episode. Shima and Ibuki are SUCH A PERFECT TEAM I LOVE THEM. Looking forward to rewatches!

Bit behind with my Japanese studies today - out again hiking!

Today I listened to
- MIU404 episode two for the second time! Spent double the amount of the episode run time listening to it haha. Lots of rewinding and lookups, but a lot less than the first episode I feel like? I let the more difficult stuff pass by, I’ll get it later. But I made 19 new cards from fairly low hanging fruit, so to speak, words. This episode is also over ten minutes shorter than the first, so I wonder if that’s why it feels a little easier to get through as well? Looking forward to watching it tomorrowww! Wahaha
Well, this week wasn’t quite as stressful as the last one, but it was still super busy. Enough that I went another full week without posting here… I watched another 7 eps of 名探偵コナン over the course of the week, though I again wasn’t really tracking my level of understanding:

HomeAnother bulk weekly update, mostly an anime week between Dungeon Meshi, Shirobako and finishing out Yuru Camp S3. Shirobako is the most challenging but going acceptably, dungeon meshi is going well and Yuru Camp S3 was the easiest, but also kind of disappointing compared to S1, S2 and the movie.
